A strong, durable and excellent value-for-money sling for climbing and mountaineering. More bulky than dyneema, but arguably easier to handle with gloves, and more hardwearing due to its larger surface area.
60cm 'shoulder length' size is easy to carry bandoleer-style across the body (which also makes it a good size for racking extra gear), as well as being ideal for smaller spikes and threads, small diameter trees, or for use as a long extender.
120cm 'double shoulder length' size is easy to carry bandoleer-style across the body when clipped with a carabiner, and is probably one of the most versatile sizes of sling to carry, being long enough for many different uses, but not too long to handle one-handed (bigger sizes tangle more easily). Ideal for spikes, threads, medium diameter trees, belay construction (for equalising gear), buried-axe belays, and more.
