Ortovox - Pro Light Shovel

With innovative materials, modern manufacturing techniques and well thought-out cut-outs on the bucket, this lightweight avalanche shovel has a minimal weight (440 g) without sacrificing rigidity. For the handle, we use high-quality 7075 T6 aluminium, which is very light while being extremely rigid. The bucket is made of 6061 T6 aluminium. Thanks to its telescopic handle with quick lock, this lightweight avalanche shovel can be quickly adjusted. It adapts to use by left or right handers thanks to its practical plug-in function. The space-saving blade of the Pro Light Shovel is grooved, so that the foot does not slip when digging. The sharp and stable cutting edge guarantees optimum performance. High edges and a central bar on the bucket give this lightweight avalanche shovel all the necessary rigidity.
